Qualifiers of the 20-20 World Cup kicked off on 16 October. But, West Indies played their first game against Scotland in Hobart. Along with the Asia Cup champion, Sri Lanka, West Indies are another big team who will look to qualify for the next “Super 12” stage. However, they were coming off a two-match T20I series defeat against the Aussies.

Speaking of the match, Scotland batted first as Nicholas Pooran asked them after winning the toss. But, an unwanted incident happened during the inning where a kid was seen slipping flat on his face on the ground. Instantly, the video went viral all over the internet.

Scotland scored 160 runs for five runs in 20 overs against West Indies

Speaking of the video, the incident took place after the completion of 14 overs. Scotland were batting at 107 runs for three wickets. For West Indies, Obed McKoy bowled that 14th over. But, after the completion of that over, the camera picked up that funny incident. A kid was seen getting slipped over the fencing outside of the boundary line. He fell on the ground flat on his face.

A man was also seen running toward him in order to save him. But, he slipped also while trying to save that child. Then, he jumped over the fence to rescue that child. The lack of responsibility from that person led to such a fumble during the match. Some fans found the video funny while some found it a concerning one.

Speaking of the match, Scotland scored 160 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. The opener, George Munsey scored 66* runs off 53 balls, including nine fours. Along with him, other batters chipped in switch some crucial contributions. For the Caribbeans, Alzarri Joseph managed only two wickets for 28 runs in four overs. In the last edition of the 20-20 World Cup, Scotland managed to qualify for the “Super 12” stage. So, they will look to qualify for this year also with a motive to do well this time around.
