Virat Kohli, India’s prime batter, proved his prowess yet again in the recently concluded 20-20 World Cup 2022 and the Indian batter remained the highest run-getter of the multinational tournament with 296 runs at an average of 98.66 in the 6 matches that he played.

With a fresh Indian team under the leadership of Hardik Pandya taking on New Zealand in a three-match T20I series starting on November 18, Friday, an old video featuring Kohli is now taking the internet by storm.

In the video, which is from 2006 when the Indian U19 team clashed against Pakistan, the Indian superstar can be seen conscious about his hairstyle and shooing a fellow player away when he tries to touch his hair.

‘Not a rare video anymore, dear Virat Kohli’

Commenting on the same, a few of his avid fans claimed that it was not a rare video and a few others said that Kohli was extremely conscious about his hair right from his early days. However, the kid went on to make a name for himself and eventually became a superstar in the future. It is a well-known fact that Kohli has huge fans from the other side of the border and one of his fans from Pakistan expressed the same on watching the video.

Kohli would next be seen in action during the Bangladesh tour in December and fans would hope that the batter would carry on with his stupendous form. In the last innings that he played against England in the semi-finals of the multinational tournament, the Indian veteran scored 50 runs and looked in great nick.

It remains to see if Kohli would call it a time in the shortest format of the game to concentrate on the longer formats. However, with his supreme fitness, fans hope that the 34-year-old would eventually carry on to play in all three formats for team India as the Men in Blue are yet to find a perfect replacement for him.
