On 14 January 2023, Pretoria Capitals locked horns with Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the ongoing SA20 league. It was the sixth match of the tournament that took place in Centurion. Both teams were looking to win the game to improve their position in the tournament. However, Pretoria Capitals won the match by 37 runs.
Will Jacks won the player of the match award for his match-winning knock. But, during that match, Aiden Markram got out after scoring 46 runs off 29 balls. But, in that dismissal, Migael Pretorius came up with an epic catch despite tumbling several times. Fans loved it and now, that video has gone viral.

Migael Pretorius completed the cath to dismiss Sunrisers Eastern Cape skipper Aiden Markram
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 11th over of Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s innings. Aiden Markram was batting while Eathan Bosch was bowling. On the third delivery of that over, Markram tried to slog the ball. But, it went very high and Migael Pretorius was there to catch it. At first, it was looking to be a simple cath for him. But, he made it difficult when he tried to take it front.
Then, it popped out to the side twice, and finally, Migael got it off the third attempt, close to the ground. Speaking of the match, Aiden Markram won the toss and opted to field first. While batting first, Pretoria Capitals scored 2116 runs for six wickets in 50 overs. Will Jacks scored 92 runs off 46 balls, including seven fours and eight sixes. Migael Pretorius scored 11* runs off 10 balls, including one six.
In reply, Eastern Cape failed to chase it down as they managed only 179 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Skipper Aiden Markram was the highest run-scorer with 46 runs off 29 balls, including five fours and two sixes. Both Wayne Parnell and Adil Rashid took two wickets each. However, Migael Pretorius did not take a single wicket as he conceded 28 runs in three overs.
