Talking about the match proceedings. India got off to a poor start as they lost three wickets for 49 runs in six overs. They likes of Jai Prakash Yadav (22), Ajay Sharma (15), and Imitiaz Ahmed (7) tried their best but the target was too steep for them to achieve. They were restricted to 66/4, with Azhar remaining not out on 13 off 18 balls. The team lost the game by 73 runs. The World Legends continued their winning momentum on the next day as they beat Pakistan by 15 runs.
On the other hand, India came back strongly in their second game against Bollywood Kings. The former won the closely contested game by two runs. The World Legends beat Bollywood Kings by 59 runs in next game and made their way to the final, to be played on March 7. On the other hand, the winner between India and Pakistan will decide the second finalist.
