After losing the series opener in Lucknow, India locked horns with South Africa on 9 October 2022. It was the second match of the series which took place in Ranchi. The stage was set for a good match as the visitors were looking to end the series with one more match to go.

On the other hand, India were looking to win this match to keep themselves alive in the series. However, an unwanted thing occurred when South Africa were batting. Mohammed Siraj was bowling and he showed his anger to the on-field umpire for one of his decision. The video went viral as fans did not like it at all.

Here is the shared video:

Mohammed Siraj took three wickets for 38 runs in 10 overs in the second ODI

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 48th over. Mohammed Siraj came up to bowl for India. On the other hand, Keshav Maharaj and David Miller were batting for the Proteas. In the second delivery of that over, Siraj bowled a back-of-a-length delivery and Maharaj missed it.

Sanju Samson grabbed it and threw it to Siraj. Meanwhile, David Miller was out of the crease. Seeing that, Mohammed Siraj took a shy at the stumps but it went straight to the boundary. Then, the umpire signaled it as an extra (four byes) and it did not impress the Indian pacer. He showed his anger as he was willing to be called a dead ball. Fans also slammed Siraj on Twitter by calling him a hypocrite as he would have appealed for run out if the ball went to hit the stumps.

Speaking of the match, Keshav Maharaj won the toss and he opted to bat first. While batting first, the Proteas scored 278 runs for seven wickets in 50 overs. Both Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram smashed fifty-plus scores. Meanwhile, for India, Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers. He took three wickets for 38 runs in 10 overs.
