The bowling captains have often called back the batters when they feel that the manner of their dismissal was not right.

However, all of that goes for a toss in village cricket matches. There have been a lot of funny incidents taken place in village cricket matches, over the years. It is the village cricket where cricket takes a whole different avatar.

For those who are unaware, village cricket is a term given to cricket matches that are played in rural villages in England and Wales. Many villages in England have their own cricket teams and they play in different club cricket leagues.

These games are often played at a leisurely pace and without much seriousness. A video that is going viral on social media shows one such village cricket match being played in an absolute light-hearted mood. A funny incident took place involving Rishton Cricket Club in Lancashire League, where they faced East Lancashire Cricket Club on Sunday.

The video shows a bowler getting off from his mark with all the other players expecting him to bowl to the batter. Soon as he reaches the umpire though, he stops and pulls his pants down. The whole ground along with the spectators erupts in laughter seeing this funny and slightly NSFW act.

The umpire seems to take this in a sporting manner and did not take offence to the bowler’s actions. He was seen laughing with everyone around as he pulled his pants up. The video has since then gone viral on social media with netizens coming up with funny remarks on the incident. One Twitter user said, “Don’t expect an LBW to go your way after….but genius.”
