The former legendary Indian skippers, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli met each other yesterday in the aftermath of a thrilling match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. The legendary duo shared some lighter moments including a laugh and some banters.
The video of this amazing moment also started making rounds on social media within minutes of being shared on the official Instagram handle of the Indian Premier League. Notably, both Kohli and Dhoni left the captaincy of India a couple of years ago; the duo played together for India for a period of almost eight years from 2011 to 2019.

Talking about the action of the match between RCB and CSK, the former’s skipper Faf du Plessis won the flip of the coin and asked Chennai to bat first. Batting first, MS Dhoni’s men posted a big total of 226 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Senior opener Devon Conway played an outstanding knock of 83 runs off just 45 balls with six boundaries and the same number of sixes; other than him, Shivam Dube and Ajinkya Rahane also played the crucial knocks of 52 and 37 runs respectively.
While chasing the target, RCB were comfortably heading to the win when skipper Faf and the star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell were batting there in the middle. Apart from du Plessis’ 62, Maxwell smashed a blistering 76 runs off just 36 balls with three boundaries and eight massive sixes.
But unfortunately, they ended up on the wrong side of the match as the Royal Challengers Bangalore lost it by a close margin of 8 runs. Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana scalped three and two wickets respectively alongside one wicket each by Akash Singh, Maheesh Theekshana, and Moeen Ali.
