Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya were seen partying together recently. Hardik Pandya's brother Krunal Pandya and Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan also attended the party. The two stars of Indian cricket were spotted dancing to 'Gandi Baat,' a famous Bollywood song from Shahid Kapoor's movie 'R Rajkumaar'.

Badshah, a Bollywood rapper, was seen performing in the middle, while all the cricketers and others danced around him. Hardik Pandya posted the video of the party on his official Instagram account. "Our jam, our moves. What a night!" he wrote in the caption. The video has gone viral since then.

In the meantime, there have been numerous reports that Indian cricket will adopt split captaincy in the near future. After a humiliating 10-wicket defeat in the recent 20-20 World Cup 2022, Hardik Pandyas is expected to take over as T20I captain from Rohit Sharma.

Pandya performed admirably in the New Zealand series that immediately followed the World Cup. Since Rohit was on rest, he was in charge of the teams. The interim captain led India to a 1-0 victory in the rain-soaked three-match series.

Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has weighed in on whether Hardik should take over as captain from Rohit. "If it happens, Hardik is the right option. In T20 format you can have someone like Ashish Nehra who recently retired from the game. He knows this better than, with all due respect to Rahul, we have played together for so many years, he has vast knowledge but this is a tricky format," Harbhajan told PTI.

"Someone who has played the game more recently is better suited for the coaching job in T20s. I am not saying you remove Rahul from T20. Ashish and Rahul can work together to build this team for the 2024 World Cup," he added.

MS Dhoni, on the other hand, was recently re-signed by his Indian T20 League franchise, Chennai. The 2023 season of the tournament is expected to be his final as a player.
