Watch: MS Dhoni hits one-handed six during Chennai's training camp in Surat

Chennai has been preparing at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat ahead of the Indian T20 League 2022. The ITL is only a few days far from its commencement, and the teams are putting in the hard work to get themselves ready for the marquee event.  MS Dhoni and the Chennai team are no different.

The franchise has set up a training camp in Surat due to the similarity of the wickets with the ones in Maharashtra, where the matches will be played. According to rumours, MS Dhoni was the brain behind this decision.

In a video released by Chennai's official Instagram handle, all the team members are seen involved in their practice. MS Dhoni also is seen hitting it in the nets. A montage of him smacking big shots is a part of the video. One shot that caught everyone's attention was the one he hit with a single hand.

The shots that Dhoni played has made the fans excited for the upcoming season. They have been waiting for him to get into the groove of scoring more and more runs. This video has given them hope that he could return as the player everyone knows him.

Meanwhile, Chennai will play the season opener against Kolkata at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on the 26th of March. They will play four of their matches at the Wankhede Stadium and four at DY Patil Stadium. They will also play three matches at the MCA Stadium in Pune and the Brabourne Stadium each.
