On May 10, following Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Chepauk Stadium, MS Dhoni and his daughter Ziva enjoyed a beautiful moment. With their seventh victory in as many games, CSK overcame DC by 27 runs to move into second place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 points standings. The Yellow Army now has 15 points.

The four-time IPL champions still have two games left to play in order to earn the final point necessary to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs. As Delhi chased a target of 168, they were held to a meagre total of 140/8 thanks to a clinical performance from CSK.

Here's the viral video of MS Dhoni and his daughter Ziva:

MS Dhoni, the captain, had previously won the toss and decided to bat first, but CSK struggled to form many partnerships. After Ambati Rayudu was dismissed, the Yellow Army were reduced to 126/6 thanks to Mitchell Marsh's excellent bowling and three wickets.

Dhoni then decided to take matters into his own hands. Before being removed by Marsh, the seasoned wicketkeeper-batter turned back the clock with a cameo of 20 off just 9 balls. The deadly bowling assault of CSK destroyed Delhi when they came out to chase the mark of 168. Deepak Chahar picked up two wickets, while Matheesha Pathirana was the cream of the bunch with his three wickets.

Ziva Dhoni joined the CSK captain on the ground after the game as Chennai successfully defended their score of 167. A video of the young child giving his father a bear embrace following CSK's 27-run triumph is going viral on social media.

Delhi's IPL 2023 season is all but gone because they fell short of the 16-point threshold that is thought to be necessary to qualify for the playoffs. The team led by David Warner is at the bottom of the standings with three games left, and with only 14 points available, it may not be enough for them to advance.
