On 14 October 2022, Australia took on England in the third and final T20I of the three-match series. However, England already sealed the series by winning first two matches. So, England were looking to clean sweep the defending champions in the shortest format ahead of the 20-20 World Cup. On the other hand, Australia were looking for a consolation win ahead of the mega event.

Speaking of the match, Australian skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and asked England to bat first. For them, Alex Hales and skipper Jos Buttler came out to open the inning. Meanwhile, Australian spinner, Nathan Lyon was in the Commentary Box for the match. Alex Hales departed early but a video went viral where Lyon predicted the style of the dismissal even before it happened actually.

Here is the shared video:

Speaking of the video, Josh Hazlewood came up to bowl the second over of the match. Alex Hales was batting along with Buttler. Meanwhile, Nathan Lyon was doing commentary during that over. Aaron Finch was standing in the first slip cordon for that over. After the first delivery of that over, Lyon said: “(the ball) moving a little bit and they can shape the ball away and bring in the outside edge.”

Just on the next ball, Hazlewood bowled a back-of-a-length delivery, angled into the middle. Alex Hales managed only a thick edge and it went straight to the waist height of Aaron Finch. The Australian skipper made no mistakes as he pounced it easily. Thus, Alex Hales got out for a duck.

After the dismissal, the other commentator also said: “There it is. Hales departs. Hazlewood with a wicket and Nathan Lyon tells you what gonna happen before it actually does. Big wicket of Alex Hales. England one for seven.” Meanwhile, in 10 overs, England managed 81 runs for two wickets. Jos Buttler was batting with 38* runs off 32 balls, including four boundaries.
