On the fifth day of the ongoing FIFA World Cup, Brazil began their campaign against Serbia. It was the second encounter of Group G. Earlier, Switzerland defeated Cameroon by 1-0. Therefore, both Brazil and Serbia were looking for a winning start in the tournament. However, Brazil are currently the ranked-one team in the world.

While Serbia are currently the 21st-ranked team in the world. So, fans were waiting to see an enthralling battle between these sides in the tournament. However, now a video has gone viral where Neymar was seen with a young Sikh boy during the World Cup opener.

Neymar did not score but Brazil managed to win against Serbia in FIFA World Cup 2022

Speaking of the viral video, Neymar was seen coming out with a Sikh Indian boy for the national anthem before their clash against Serbia. Seeing that, Indian fans went crazy as they shared the video and made it viral instantly. Speaking of the match, the first half of the match ended goallessly. Brazil players like Neymar, and Rapinha got some close chances. But, they failed to convert those into goals. However, Serbia were finding difficulties in order to attack in that game.

But, in the second half, Brazil’s Richarlison came up with a brace and secured Brazil’s victory. His first goal was a simple tap-in. But, his second goal was world-class as Richarlison hit an overhead kick. However, other players like Fred also came close to joining the party with a vicious shot. Casemiro hit an outrageous shot. But, it hit the crossbar and went above the goal. Speaking about Neymar, he had a decent game.

Neymar got involved in many attacks and left the field in the 80th minute. However, he was seen limping off with a swollen right ankle. But, after the match, Brazil Head Coach, Tite said that Neymar will not miss any upcoming clashes in the tournament. He said: “We are confident that Neymar will continue playing, he will continue playing in the World Cup. I didn’t see Neymar was hurt. And he had the capacity to overcome this, he even tricked me.”
