PSG have a star-studded dressing room featuring the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. While this looks great from the outside, it must be painful for the coach and team management to manage three of the biggest stars in world football.
While there were many reports of a rift between the three, it did not spill over on the pitch in the past. This year, however, the rumours started to take shape on the field itself as Kylian Mbappe and Neymar appeared to clash on multiple occasions. In the first match of this season, Mbappe was seen exchanging a heated argument with Neymar for a penalty that Messi had won.
Soon reports started to emerge about the dressing room having been split into two with Mbappe, and Achraf Hakimi on one side while Messi and Neymar on the other side. In many matches, Neymar and Mbappe have had arguments on the pitch as they did not pass to each other.
The rift became so apparent between the two that the PSG coach Christophe Galtier was asked about their relationship by the reporters. Squshing all rumours, the PSG head coach said, “The relationship between Ney and Kylian is very good, and I’m not giving you the run around,” Galtier told reporters on Friday.
“They are together in the training exercises, they are often together in the warm-ups. Yes, there was that match situation. And I discussed it yesterday with Kylian, who I think, I think, has discussed it with Ney.”
Recently the same question was asked to Neymar after Brazil’s win over Ghana in an international friendly match. The Brazilian number 10 appeared to just scoff over the question. Neymar said, “With Kylian? Oof… I don’t, “ and headed to the gate.

Both are currently on an international break and playing for their respective countries. Brazil won against Ghana while France won against Austria by 2-0 in their Nations League match.
PSG will play their next match on 2nd October against Nice in Ligue 1.
