The young UP lad smashed five consecutive sixes in the last over when the visitors KKR required 29 runs on the last five balls of the match.

Speaking of the entire action of the match, Gujarat Titans posted a big total of 204 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The senior all-rounder Vijay Shankar played a swashbuckling knock of 63 runs off just 24 balls with four boundaries and five sixes to his name. Other than him, young batters, Sai Sudarshan and Shubman Gill also played the crucial knocks of 53 and 39 runs respectively.
Sunil Narine and Suyash Sharma were the only bowlers to scalp wickets for KKR in the first innings.
While chasing the target, KKR faced a big blow when GT skipper Rashid Khan claimed an amazing hat-trick in the 17th over of the second innings. But Rinku Singh took centerstage and turned the history pages by smashing five sixes on the five balls of the last over when his team required 29 runs off the last five balls.
Eventually, Nitish Rana’s men won the match by three wickets and registered their second successive win in the tournament.
