Most Indian international cricketers start their cricketing journey by playing street cricket. More commonly known as "Gully Cricket", it holds a special place in the hearts of all Indians. The star Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin was recently spotted playing gully cricket along with some young boys.
Recently turned 36-year-old Ashwin was seen spending time with young boys and bowling some balls to them. The star all-rounder posted the video of the same on his official Instagram handle. "Nothing can beat Area Cricket," he wrote in the caption.

As India plays Australia in a three-match T20I series, Ashwin is currently serving his country. Australia defeated the Rohit Sharma-led team by four wickets in the opening T20I at Mohali on September 20. The 36-year-old is also a part of the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
Thanks to Hardik Pandya's quickfire 71 not out off 30 balls, Suryakumar Yadav's 46 off 25, and KL Rahul's 46 off 25, India scored an impressive total of 208/6. (55 off 35) in the first match. In their defence, India made a quick breakthrough when Axar Patel took Australia's captain Aaron Finch's (22) wicket. However, the other opener, Cameron Green and Steve Smith rebuilt the innings and put India under pressure with their 70-run partnership.
After Green was twice dropped by both Axar and KL Rahul, Axar provided the much-needed relief for India by sending him back. In the 12th over, Umesh Yadav removed Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell. However, Australia's hopes were maintained by the game-changing innings from Matthew Wade.
Before Pat Cummins hit a four to take Australia home, Wade hit three consecutive boundaries off the bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 19th over. Australia and India will next meet on September 23 in Nagpur.
"I don't think we bowled that well. 200 is a good score to defend and at the same time, we didn't take our chances on the field. That's about it. I think we batted brilliantly to get to that score. It was a great game for us to understand where we went wrong and what we can do better in the next game," Rohit Sharma said after the match.
