The Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic is currently quite out of action from the court as he is spending some quality time off the court. The veteran recently won the US Open 2023 after defeating Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in the summit clash of the tournament. It was a remarkable achievement for him as he was making his comeback in New York after a wait of two years.

Apart from that, Djokovic also made it to the headlines of social media for something out of the court. He was recently spotted spending some time with a goat, the video of this amazing and wholesome moment also made rounds on social as soon as it was shared by an X-handle named ‘The Tennis Letter”.

Speaking of Tennis, Team Europe lost to Team World in the recently concluded Laver Cup edition on Sunday, September 24. Following the conclusion of the Laver Cup, former legendary Tennis star Roger Federer also spoke about Novak Djokovic when he mentioned the latter’s name to be a part of Team Europe in the next edition of the Laver Cup.

Apart from that, Federer also mentioned some other big names in the European Tennis circuit, which included a couple of renowned stars.

"I would like to see Novak again, Alcaraz and Novak on the same team,” said Federer to Eurosport.

“Sascha Zverev would be great for the German market. Someone like Holger Rune really hurt Team Europe. Rune and Stefanos Tsitsipas pulling out. Daniil Medvedev would be great. I like watching Andrey Rublev, and maybe someone will come through,” he added later.

However, Rune cleared his stance on the possibility of participation in the upcoming edition of the Laver Cup.

“As I am in treatment with my back it’s not possible for me to play Laver Cup next week,” Rune wrote in a post on X (former Twitter).

“I would have loved to join the fight to get the trophy back to Europe and I will support my teammates from a distance,” he added later.
