The young Indian batter Prithvi Shaw was in action with the Delhi Capitals during the league stage of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. He appeared to bat in eight innings of the eight matches, he played for the Capitals in the tournament. The young batter failed to live up to the expectations and couldn’t impress the management and fans with the outings in the tournament.

Apart from this, Shaw is currently in the headlines of social media for a reason off the field. He was recently spotted with his rumoured girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia, who is an Indian actor and model active in the industry.

Coming back to cricket, Shaw could score only 106 runs in eight matches, he played during the current season of the Indian Premier League; he scored these runs with a very poor average of 13.25 having only one half-century to his name.

He had also been in the headlines of the Indian cricketing corridors as the selectors ignored him from the national squad for a long time while picking the team for bilateral and multi-team tournaments.

Shaw also missed making it to the squad of India for the Test Championship 2023 final despite some stellar performances in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season.

Speaking of Team India, they will be in action in the Test Championship 2023 final against Australia. Both teams will play this match at The Oval in London next month on the 7^th of June.
