The last couple of days has been very hard for the renowned French club Paris Saint-Germain since they lost to Lorient by a margin of 1-3 on Sunday, the 30th of April in Ligue 1. Furthermore, the club was pushed to take strict disciplinary action against the legendary right winger Lionel Messi.

It all happened after Messi went on an unauthorized trip to Saudi which was not approved by the club. Later on, some of the PSG fans headed to the club HQs and raised chants or slogans against the legendary Argentina skipper and asked him to leave the club. The over-excited fans also abused Messi and raised some derogatory chants.

Other than this, another section of fans staged a massive protest in front of Brazilian star Neymar Jr’s house. Fans raised the slogans like ‘Get out’ in front of Neymar’s house. The videos of these protests are making rounds on social media just within minutes of being shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Here’s a look at both the videos of the protest against Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr.

Talking about the Messi-PSG row, the photos of the Argentina international’s Saudi trip were also broadcasted by the Saudi Minister of Tourism from his official Twitter handle.

“Messi & his family treated themselves to a delightful selection of international cuisine & a luxurious shopping experience in Riyadh followed by a fun-filled afternoon of games, VR experiences, & quality family time at Riyadh City Boulevard,” tweeted Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the tourism minister.

Notably, things have taken quite a bit of a bitter turn between PSG fans and Lionel Messi since his team Argentina defeated France in the final to win the FIFA World Cup 2022. They had won the World Cup after a long wait of 36 years since the last time they clinched the title under the captaincy of the great midfielder Diego Maradona.
