After concluding the tour of England, Indian players arrived in the Caribbean for a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series. As the players departed from Manchester on Monday, the BCCI organised a charter jet for the team.
Virat Kohli has been resting throughout the entire tour, but veteran players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant have just been rested for the ODI matches. The squad for the ODI series includes players like Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shubhman Gill in the absence of more experienced players. Shikhar Dhawan has been named captain for the ODI series.
Before the first game of the series, India's opener and captain for the ODI leg, Dhawan, shared an Instagram reel on Tuesday with members of the team, including head coach Rahul Dravid. The head coach joined the other players in the Instagram reel to say 'hey' to the camera in their own unique ways.
