The eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup kicked off on 16 October 2022 with the qualifiers. Four teams from this round will join eight teams in the “Super 12” stage. Then, the second round will start on 22 October. However, Afghanistan have already qualified for the second round. Currently, they are looking to play two warm-up matches ahead of the mega event. 

Meanwhile, Rashid Khan will be the player to watch out for Afghanistan. But, ahead of the tournament, he was seen showing his acting skills in a viral video with a famous Indian comedian, Shubham Gaur. Fans found the video so funny as they shared the same on social media platforms.

Rashid Khan took six wickets in five matches in the Asia Cup 2022

Speaking of the video, Rashid Khan was seen with Shubham Gaur doing a video. The main context of that video was how boys feel after watching a film, named “Tere Naam” for the 100th time. Speaking of that film, this Bollywood film is Salman Khan's starred sad-romantic film. So, they showcased their emotions as if they had watched the film for the 100th time.

But, during that video, Rashid Khan was seen doing some bizarre thing. Rashid and Shubham were seen feeding bananas to each other. Seeing that, fans found it so funny as the video went viral. Speaking of Rashid Khan’s form, he last played for his country in the Asia Cup 2022. In that tournament, he managed to take six wickets in five matches, at an economy of 6.55.

With the bat, Rashid scored 42 runs in three innings while batting down the order. He smashed those runs at an average of 21. So, in the upcoming World Cup, Rashid Khan will be crucial for Afghanistan with both the bat and ball. Before their first match against England on 22 October in Perth, they will play two warm-up matches. First, Afghanistan will take on Bangladesh and then, Pakistan on 17 October and 19 October respectively. Both matches will be played in Brisbane.
