On 20 November 2022, team India locked horns with the Kiwis in the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series in Mount Maunganui. The first game of the series got abandoned in Wellington due to heavy rain. So, fans were hoping to see a match between these sides despite having rain threats.

While batting first, Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant hundred as India scored 191 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Now, a video has gone viral where Rishabh Pant was seen getting involved in an incident with Suryakumar Yadav during his mid-innings chat.

Speaking of the video, Suryakumar Yadav was seen attending a mid-innings chat with the broadcaster. He was talking about his brilliant ton against the Kiwis. Durian that, Rishabh Pant was seen coming to the batter and hugging him from behind. He was also heard saying: “This is unbelievable innings”.
During the mid-innings chat, Suryakumar Yadav said: “In T20, a hundred is always special but at the same time, it was really important for me to bat till the very end. Hardik was telling me to bat till the 18th or 19th over and get to a score of 185 or so. After the end of the 16th over, we had a chat about taking it deep. It was important to maximize the last few overs. Have been doing the same things over and over again, in the nets and it's just coming off for me.”
Speaking of the match, India scored 191 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 111* runs off 51 balls. In reply, the Kiwis got bundled out for 126 runs in 18.5 overs. The Men in Blue won the match by a huge margin of 65 overs. Suryakumar Yadav also won the player of the match award for his knock.
