Rishabh Pant has been one of the best Indian batters in recent times but an unfortunate accident took almost a year of cricket away from him. The wicketkeeper is in recovery mode ahead of the big tournaments. The Haridwar-born cricketer hit the grounds on the 15th of August in one of the matches playing for JSW Vijayanagar near Bengaluru.

The Delhi cricketer celebrated the 77th Indian Independence Day at Inspire Institute of Sport. The Southpaw gave a motivational speech to the students and inspired them with his words. The great matchwinner of India spoke about their passion and love for the game and advised the students to always keep loving what they do.

Pant, who has seen a lot in his life, spoke about his experience and inspired the students. “I have been around, and I have seen all the facilities. This is one of the best facilities in India and around the world. Yes, we keep on playing all the time, but at the same time, we should remember why we started playing. Because I feel once you keep growing older and older, you stop loving the game,” said Pant.

“One of the reasons might be the immense pressure and the need to excel in life. But yaar, wo enjoyment nahi miss karna hai yaar. I feel that is something we all are missing from life. Yaar, ye achieve karna hai, wo achieve karna hai.. Yes, we have to achieve everything. But at the same time, if we can do it with enjoyment and happiness, nothing more like it” said Pant to the students.

Rishabh Pant, who is on his way to recovery, will be important for India's chances in the Test series against teams like South Africa and England. India will have important series against the strong teams in Test cricket for the third cycle of the World Test Championship. The presence of a fully fit Rishabh pant will be crucial for the chances of the Indian team.
