Following a convincing 10-wicket victory in the first ODI against England, the two sides met at Lord's for the second match. The match witnessed some great bowling from both teams. Yuzvendra Chahal was at the top of his game for India, while Reece Topley was England's star performer.

During the first innings, while Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow were batting, Rohit Sharma appeared to be in pain after blocking a shot from Root. The Indian skipper was spotted holding his right hand. However, the discomfort seemed to last just a short time before Sharma healed himself. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Rohit seems to dislocate one of his joints and then put it back together again.

Here is the video

As for the match, India lost the match by 100 runs while chasing a target of 247 runs. Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first. Chahal spun a web around English batters with the ball, striking out four of them. Chahal finished his four-wicket haul after dismissing Root, Bairstow, Ben Stokes, and Moeen Ali. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah both took two wickets to help him out. Mohammed Shami also bowled a solid second spell, keeping England in the hunt for runs.

Moeen Ali was England's best scorer in the innings, with 47 runs in 64 balls. Jonny Bairstow (38 runs in 38 balls) and David Willey (41 runs in 49 balls) both scored some runs in their total.

On the other hand, India had a batting collapse in their innings. The visitors were limited to 146 runs as England eased to a 100-run win. Hardik Pandy and Ravindra Jadeja, with scores of 29 runs in 44 balls each, were the highest scorers for India. Reece Topley was the pick of the bowlers as he ended with the figures of 24/6 in his 9.5 overs. He registered the best bowling figures by an Englishman in ODI cricket.

The three-match series is now tied 1-1. The decider will be contested on July 17th at Old Trafford in Manchester.
