The team duties in the auction room are now over, and the coaching staff will now take on from here. There have been some massive buys in the auction and some surprising exclusions too. Greats like Suresh Raina, Steve Smith, and Amit Mishra were some big names that went unsold. S Sreesanth was another player that was unsold in the auction.

The pacer had set a base price of 50 lakhs for himself, but no team was interested in having him on their side. However, his disappointment did not stand in the way of him wanting to resurrect his career. He took it on social media to post a video of him singing 'Ruk Jana Nahi Tu Kahin Haar Ke' which translates to don't stop if you ever fail.

"Always grateful and always looking forward…lots of love and respect to each and everyone of u.:om Nama Shivaya," read the caption.

Sreesanth was banned for life from all forms of cricket when he was involved in a spot-fixing scandal in 2013. His ban was cut short to seven years which ended September 2020. He made his comeback for the state team last year and is looking forward to making a comeback to the Indian team. He is also named in Kerala's Ranji team for the upcoming season.

"Gods grace and lots of hard work and perseverance..thanks a lot to each and everyone of u for keeping faith in my ability..Great to be back in whites just the beginning..gonna keep giving my very best every single moment #humbled #skyisnotthelimit #love #bcci," he wrote on Twitter.
