There is no denying the insane talent of Sachin Tendulkar. The man exudes class on and off the field. While, many can play straight drives, lofted shots, and covers driver, there are none who could do as beautifully as the legendary batter.

Tendulkar retired in 2013, and ever since then the world of cricket was eluded to the perfect cricketing shots that the Master Blaster showcased. The ongoing Road Safety World Series however has brought back a chance for all to watch the sensational cricketer play the cricketing shots as they are meant to be played.

One of his shots from RSWS 2022 that is getting viral on social media is him smashing Chris Tremlett for a six. The shot is from India Legends’ match against England Legends on Thursday.

Here's the video:

Coming to open the innings, Tendulkar got off the mark with a single and looked to play assuredly. In the next over, however, the Mumbai-born batter changed his intensity altogether hitting Chris Tremlett for consecutive sixes followed by a boundary.

The second six has now given a flashback to the fans as it has reminded them of Sachin’s six from Sharjah in 1998 in an inning famously known as the “Desert Storm.”

Tendulkar danced down the track and smashed Tremlett over the boundary fence at straight mirroring his shot from 1998. The shot has since then gone viral on social media.

The shot mirrors one shot of the sensational former India batter from his famous innings against Australia in 1998 when he made 143 runs while chasing a target of 284 at Sharjah. The 23-year-old inning was called as such because that match was stopped due to a sandstorm before Sachin came and smashed all bowlers akin to the natural phenomenon.

India Legends which is led by Sachin Tendulkar are currently sitting second on the RSWS 2022 points table. They have won two matches out of four whereas the other two have been abandoned due to poor weather. India Legends are scheduled to play Bangladesh Legends in their next match.
