Sanju Samson is currently eyeing to book a permanent spot for himself in the Indian team. The wicketkeeper-batter has been in and out of the team ever since his debut in 2015. The 27-year-old batter has shown glimpses of his brilliant batting but is yet to consistently perform well enough to earn a long stint with the national side.
He was recently selected for the first of three T20I series against England, but did not make the playing XI. However, Indian selectors still believed in him and picked him in the squad for the West Indies tour for a three-match ODI series. On Wednesday, he was spotted training hard at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in preparation for the tour. Samson posted a video of him batting in the nets on his Instagram handle.
