Celebrity Cricket League

We’ve seen it on several occasions when players indulge in a heated argument or any kind of verbal altercation during a cricket match, but seeing a physical fight during a cricket match is something which is a very rare scene to witness and that too some famed celebrities being involved in an ugly physical fight during a cricket match.

But a similar incident happened recently during a Celebrity Cricket League match in Bangladesh. An argument started over some decisions of boundary or an out, which turned into a brutal violent fight which eventually led 6 individuals to get hospitalized owing to the intensity of the injuries they sustained during the fight.

The media reports learned that this fixture of the Celebrity Cricket League was being played between the teams of filmmaker Mustafa Kamal Raj and Dipankar Deepon. The fight between both teams started just after a wrong decision from the umpire. The players started responding to each other with punches and slaps and the fight turned even more ugly when the players started attacking with the bats.

The video of this rarest of the rare incidents in cricket also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared on X by Saif Ahmed, the social media manager of Bangla Tigers and Rangpur Riders.

“Celebrity Cricket League has turned into WWE Royal Rumble - 6 people got injured, the tournament got cancelled before the semis, 30+-year-old male & female adults fighting over boundary & out decision in a ‘friendly’ tournament,” wrote Saif in a tweet from X (formerly Twitter) account.

Apart from this, Bangladesh are also facing some issues

Here's the video:

“Hilarious scenes in Celebrity Cricket League. A celebrity crying because an umpire didn’t give a boundary which was clearly a four. Two teams fought badly, 6 people were injured in hospital and the tournament is now cancelled,” he wrote in another tweet, sharing a video of a female celebrity crying in front of the media cameras while talking about a wrong decision by the umpire.
