Pakistan are currently busy playing the ongoing T20I tri-series in New Zealand. Ahead of the 20-20 World Cup, this series could be a great platform for the preparation of the Men in Green. As of now, Pakistan have managed to win two out of three matches in the series. Apart from the final squad, some players visited New Zealand. 

Shahnawaz Dahani is one of them as he is having some practice sessions. This pacer is known for his pace. But, with the bat, he is a typical tail-ender batter.  Now, a video went viral where  Dahani was having a net session with the bat. But, he faced difficulties to counter some pacy deliveries from the bowlers. He even ended up in some funny poses as fans found it funny.

Shahnawaz Dahani failed to take any wickets in his two overs against New Zealand on 11 October

Speaking of the video, Shahnawaz Dahani was having a net session with the bat. Bowling coach, Shaun Tait was also there to observe all the proceedings. There some fast bowlers delivered some pacy balls to the Pakistani pacer. 

However, he seemed to have difficulties in facing those as he requested to bowl some slow deliveries. Apparently, Shaun Tait and other players had a laugh seeing Dahani’s situation while facing those deliveries. Speaking of the ongoing tri-series, Pakistan have already won two out of three games. On 11 October 2022, they took on the Kiwis in the fourth match.

Pakistan batters did not manage to score freely. They ended up at 130 runs only for seven wickets in 20 overs. Michael Bracewell took two wickets for 11 runs in four overs. In reply, New Zealand managed to chase down the target with 23 balls to spare. Kiwis scored 131 runs for one wicket in just 16.1 overs. Finn Allen scored 62 runs off 42 balls, including one four and six over-boundaries. Shahnawaz Dahani conceded 21 runs in two overs without any wickets. However, Michael Bracewell won the player of the match award for his impressive bowling spell.
