Former RCB skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli and veteran Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan attracted the eyeballs after the ninth match of the IPL 2023 between KKR and RCB. The match was played at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Notably, both superstars interacted with each other in the aftermath of the match between both teams.
KKR’s owner SRK was seen having some laughter and funny dance moves with Virat Kohli on the sidelines of the post-match presentation. Subsequently, the video of this cherishing moment including both Kings of their respective fields is now making rounds on social media.

Talking about the entire action of the match, the visitors’ skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and asked KKR to bat first. Batting first, Nitish Rana’s men posted a big total of 204 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Thanks to the swashbuckling knock of 68 runs off just 29 balls with nine boundaries and three sixes by star all-rounder Shardul Thakur. Other than him, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rinku also played the knocks of 57 and 46 runs respectively.
Later on, while defending the target, the spin trio of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Suyash Sharma completely outmuscled the RCB batting lineup and bundled them up with only a score of 123 runs. Sunil Narine and Suyash Sharma scalped three wickets each alongside four wickets claimed by Varun Chakravarthy. Apart from this, the ‘Player of the Match Shardul Thakur also scalped one wicket.
Eventually, KKR won the match by a massive margin of 81 runs to register their first win in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League.
Now, Shahrukh Khan-owned KKR will face Gujarat Titans in their third match of the season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
