WATCH: Shikhar Dhawan's alleged new love life goes viral on internet

Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan has been single since the second half of 2021. At the time, he had just led an India Junior side in a tour of Sri Lanka. After the tour, it was confirmed that Dhawan and his ex-wife had divorced. They had been married around 2012-13 and had a child together. Meanwhile, a few months back, Ayesha Mukherjee, his ex-wife had threatened to tear apart the left-hander's image.

However, the 2013 Champions Trophy winner was given relief by the court and asked Mukherjee to restrain from such practices. Meanwhile, in a video that is going viral, the former India U19 player was heard talking about his alleged love life. However, it is quite clear that nothing has materialized yet. During the video, the Delhi player caught his friend recording his conversations with him.

Shikhar Dhawan is the leading run-getter in the ongoing IPL 2023

Meanwhile, talking about Dhawan on the cricketing front, he has been out of the Indian team since early this year. Shubman Gill has replaced him and is doing well for the Men In Blue. Last month, Dhawan, in an interview with ZEE TV, was asked if had he been a selector, and whom he would have selected.

In reply, the former India opener took Gill's name, who ironically replaced Dhawan in the team. Meanwhile, the PBKS skipper has been doing well with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2023. He has amassed 225 runs including a fighting 99 not out against Sunrisers Hyderabad. His team will lock horns with the defending champions, Gujarat Titans at home. Both teams would look to get back to winning ways with GT being robbed of a victory by Kolkata Knight Riders' Rinku Singh.
