On 27 October 2022, Zimbabwe took on Pakistan in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup in Perth. Pakistan were coming off a defeat against arch-rivals India. While Zimbabwe got only one pint due to an abandoned match against the Proteas. So, fans were set for a great battle between these sides.

However, Zimbabwe pulled off a famous victory as they defeated Pakistan by one run. Sikandar Raza won the player of the match award for his contributions to the match. But, now, a video went viral where Sikandar Raza brutally trolled the Men in Green at the post-match conference.

Sikandar Raza took three wickets for 25 runs in four overs against Pakistan

Speaking of the video, a journalist asked a question to Sikandar Raza. He asked: “Sikandar, great performance. At what time did you actually start believing that this match coming to your side?” Hearing that, Raza came up with a spontaneous reply. Sikandar Raza said: “Before the first  ball was bowled.”

Fans went crazy after hearing such a reply from the players. He told that even before starting bowling to the Pakistani batters, they knew that they can win. Fans found it funny and made the video viral. Speaking about the match, Zimbabwe won the toss and choose to bat first. They had a great start at the top. But, they failed to capitalize as Zimbabwe only managed 130 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. 

Mohammad Wasim Jr. took four wickets for 24 runs in his four overs in the match. Sikandar Raza scored only nine runs off 16 balls with the bat. But, in reply, Pakistan failed into the traps of Zimbabwe bowlers. They managed only 129 runs in 20 overs by losing eight wickets. Thus, Zimbabwe managed to win the match by one run. Sikandar Raza won the player of the match award for his match-winning performance with the ball. He took three wickets for 25 runs in his four overs against the Men in Green.
