Steve Smith scored 101 runs off 56 balls in the match
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the second over of Sydney Sixers’ innings. Steve Smith was batting while Harry Conway was bowling. On the fourth delivery of that over, Smith tried to tap the ball for a quick single. But, he managed an inside edge and the ball rolled towards the stumps.
Then, the ball also hit the furniture but there was not enough force to dislodge those heavy zing bails. Thus, Steve Smith survived and continued his innings. Even, the bowler was in complete disbelief after seeing that. Speaking of the match, Josh Phillipe and Steve Smith came out to open the innings. Smith batted fantastically as he scored 101 runs off 56 balls. He batted at a strike rate of 180.35 including five fours and seven sixes.
