Suresh Raina of India Legends turned back the clock with an incredible catch during Wednesday's semi-final match against Australia Legends. During his playing career, the Southpaw was widely regarded as one of the best fielders in the game, and he never disappointed.
Even after retiring, he continues to give his all on the field. Raina made a spectacular catch at point as he dived to his left to dismiss dangerous Australian star, Ben Dunk. This was the fifth wicket of Australia Legends' innings, but rain intervened and the match was postponed until the next day.
Dunk was batting dangerously, on 46 off 25 deliveries, when Abhimanyu Mithun bowled a wide full-toss. It would have cleared the point region on most occasions, but Dunk couldn't time it perfectly this time. Despite his mistimed shot, the ball would have almost cleared Raina at point if the fielder hadn't made an extraordinary effort to catch it.

Earlier, India Legends captain Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and asked Australia to bat first in the 2022 Road Safety World Series semi-final. The opening pair of Shane Watson (30) and Alex Doolan (35) made a strong start, putting on a 60-run stand.
With the wicket of Watson, Rahul Sharma gave India their first breakthrough. Doolan was soon out on Yusuf Pathan's delivery. Pathan added another wicket with the dismissal of Callum Ferguson before Abhimanyu Mithun struck twice with the dismissals of Nathan Reardon and Ben Dunk.
After rain halted play on Wednesday, Australia will resume their innings on 136/5 in 17 overs today. India will look to not give away a lot of runs in the final three overs and keep them restricted. The Sachin Tendulkar-led team will look to win the match and enter the final to defend their crown.
Later tonight, Sri Lanka Legends will face West Indies Legends in the second semi-final. The final will be held on October 2 at Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium.
