On 2 November 2022, team India played their fourth match of the ongoing 20-20 World Cup in Adelaide. The Men in Blue took on Bangladesh as both teams came to that clash after winning both of their first three matches. So, fans were hoping for a better show from both teams. These teams were looking to strengthen their position in the group.

Speaking about the match, Rohit Sharma did not win the toss as Bangladesh asked India to bat first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came out to bat. But, an interesting incident happened during that innings in which Taskin Ahmed got involved. He was seen unhappy regarding a dropped catch of Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma only scored two runs off eight balls against Bangladesh

Speaking about the incident, it took place during the third over of India’s innings. Rohit Sharma was batting for India. For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed was bowling that over. On the fourth delivery of that over, Rohit Sharma hit a flicked shot off a short-of-length ball on the off stump. Hasan Mahmud was waiting there for that catch.

But, he made a mess of it as he dropped the catch. Seeing such a disappointing effort from the youngster, Taskin Ahmed was not happy at all. He was also seen abusing his teammate. Fans were in shock seeing such an action from a senior player like Taskin Ahmed. However, Hasan Mahmud managed to take the wicket of the Indian skipper in the next over only. Rohit Sharma only scored two runs off eight balls against Bangladesh.

KL Rahul scored 50 runs off 32 balls, including three boundaries and four sixes. He batted at a high strike rate of 156.25. Then, Virat Kohli continued his good form with the bat as he scored 64* runs off 44 balls, including eight fours and one six. He batted at a strike rate of 145.45. Thus, India scored 184 runs for six wickets in 20 overs.
