The inception of the T20 format in the cricketing world has also evolved the fielding patterns completely with time. Meanwhile, fielding and executing some stunning catches at the boundary rope has emerged as one of the most renowned skills of late. Cricket fans have seen a lot of fielders at different levels of cricket.
But nobody would have seen the catch that a fielder has recently taken in a tennis-ball tournament. The video of this now makes rounds on social media like wildfire and has drawn a lot of reactions from the cricketing fraternity.
This amazing moment belongs to a tennis-ball clash between two teams as the bowler delivered it outside the offside stump followed by a smooth connection of bat, and the ball went for a big one. The batter smashed toward the deep mid-wicket region with an intention of hitting a six.
But the guy who was fielding at the deep mid-wicket region had something in his mind to stun everyone who was present there in the field at the moment. He happened to catch the ball with both hands with a fine jump just before the ball crossed the boundary rope. Before losing contact with the playing ground, he went on to throw the ball in the air.
Later on, when the ball approached to the ground owing to the gravity, what the fielder did was completely something that nobody would’ve imagined or seen so far in cricket. He made a jump and kicked the ball inside the ground; followed by a catch that his teammate took later.
Here’s the video of the unbelievable catch:
It doesn't matter what the rules say.

Meanwhile, this effort from this guy has also left the former cricketing greats completely awestruck as former legendary Indian batter, Sachin Tendulkar and former England skipper Michael Vaughan praised the brilliant efforts from the fielder.
“This is what happens when you bring a guy who also knows how to play football!!,” wrote Sachin Tendulkar while sharing the video of this catch.
