The second day of the second Test match between New Zealand and England had some brilliant cricketing action. While the batters had a great outing on the second day, a fast bowler made the day for a fan. New Zealand's Trent Boult was spotted giving an autograph to a fan while he was fielding at the boundary.

Between deliveries in the innings' ninth over, Boult strolled across the boundary line to sign a spectator's cap. A video of the same has gone viral over the internet. Sky Sports Cricket, the official broadcaster of the series, tweeted the video. "Time for a quick autograph Trent Boult," read the caption of the tweet.

As for the match, the batters had an excellent day at the Trent Bridge. For the Black Caps, Dary Mitchell and Tom Blundell continued from where they left off on the first day. Each scored a half-century in the team's score of 318 at the end of day one. Both continued their brilliance and started attacking the next day. The duo combined for a 236-run partnership, with each completing their century. Blundell scored 106 runs, while Mitchell went on to score 190 runs.

After the partnership was broken, Michael Bracewell also played a decent knock of 49 runs on his debut. In the end, New Zealand managed 553 runs on the board. In the following innings, Boult struck early, setting the tone for the Kiwis. He took the wicket of Zak Crawley (four) in the second over.

However, post that, Ollie Pope (51) played the perfect attacking game at number three. He scored a quick fifty towards the bank end of the day and helped the team reach a score of 90/1 at the end of day two. In the meantime, Alex Lees (34) provided him solid support in the innings.

England are currently trailing by 463 runs. The visitors will now look to get some early wickets on day three to have an advantage in the match.
