The inaugural season of SA20 is going to take place between January and February 2023. Six different teams will participate while representing six different cities in South Africa. However, all the Indian T20 League franchises have managed to buy those teams in this league. Paarl Royals is one of those teams which are a part of the Rajasthan franchise.
JP Duminy will be the head coach for this steam while David Miller will be the captain. However, Evan Jones is also a part of this team. Now, an old video of him completing a stunning catch has gone viral that he took in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 11th over while the Titans were batting in the second innings. Lutho Simpala was bowling for the Lions. On the first delivery of that over, the Titans skipper, Sibonelo Makhanya tried to hit the ball straight down the ground.
But, the ball was in the air and Evan Jones came up with a brilliant effort to grab it. Sibonelo Makhanya scored 24 runs off 20 balls, including three fours and one six. Speaking of the match, the Lions batted first and scored 271 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs. Evan Jones scored 41* runs off 35 balls, including three fours and two sixes.
In reply, the Titans got bundled out for 233 runs in 46.1 overs. Thus, the Lions won that match by 38 runs. Speaking about this upcoming SA20 League, former England skipper, Eoin Morgan said that this league will produce new domestic heroes. “To be teaming up with my very good friends, Jos Buttler and Jason Roy is something I am looking forward to. But not only that, the tournament and the time of year, it’s over allows us all to bring our families and share the experience of not only touring a beautiful country but also playing cricket’s most popular format,” Morgan said.
