India are all set to play against England in the rescheduled fifth Test match on July 1st. India has begun preparations for the all-important match. Earlier, they played a warmup game against Leicestershire and are now practising at the Edgbaston Stadium. Ahead of the match, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill were spotted returning from the practice session.
The cameraman followed Virat and Shubman as they returned from a practice session in a video shared by Edgbaston's official Twitter handle. While the two Indian cricketers were in between a conversation, Virat just stopped and looked into the camera and said, "Wassup?" This hilarious moment has left everyone in splits. "𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. My life is complete," read the caption of the video.

Meanwhile, the Test match at Edgbaston is eagerly awaited by one and all. Notably, this is a rescheduled Test match from India's tour of England in 2021. The final match had to be rescheduled due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the visitor's camp. India currently leads the five-match Test series 2-1.
However, things have not been easy for the visitors this time either. Indian captain Rohit Sharma had tested positive for Covid-19 during the warmup game. His availability in the squad for the match remains in doubt. India will have to look for an alternative captain and an alternative opening batter.
If Rohit is unable to play, Mayank Agarwal has been called up as a replacement. As for the captaincy, a few options have emerged within the team. The fans want Virat Kohli to return as the captain, while Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant are the other candidates.
