India and Australia are locking horns in the fourth and last of the four-match Test series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Aussie stand-in skipper Steve Smith won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, the opening pair of Travis Head and senior southpaw Usman Khawaja provided a start of 61 runs for the first wicket.

Ravichandran Ashwin provided the first breakthrough to Team India in the 16th over of the innings. Although apart from the other activities of the first day, former Indian skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli attracted the headlines of social media as a video went viral on social media.

In this video, Kohli is visibly eating chocolate while standing in the slip cordon. The clip of this moment is now making rounds on social media just within minutes of being shared by a Twitter user.

Speaking of the action of the match, the senior batter Usman Khawaja smashed a brilliant century on the first day and he is currently batting on the score of 104 runs off 251 balls with 15 boundaries alongside Cameron Green (49 runs off 64 balls with eight boundaries).

At the time of stumps, Australia were 255 runs for the loss of four wickets in the 90 overs at the end of the first day’s play. Travis Head fell prey to Ashwin on the individual score of 32 runs off 44 balls with seven boundaries. Other than these, the stand-in skipper Steve Smith contributed with the knock of 38 runs.

The senior pacer Mohammed Shami scalped the two wickets by conceding 65 runs in 17 overs with an economy rate of 3.82. Other than him, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja also scalped one wicket each.

Currently, Team India is leading the four-match Test series by a margin of 2-1 after a loss of nine wickets in the Indore Test.
