Virat Kohli, the former captain of India and the RCB, met his boyhood coach Rajkumar Sharma and touched his feet before RCB's match against the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The Delhi Capitals are hosting RCB for the 50th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

As such, Virat Kohli will be playing in his home ground, where he started off his cricketing journey, in front of the Delhi crowd that has been huge admirers of the world cup winner. The video of the incident where Virat Kohli greets his boyhood coach is doing rounds on social media.

Sreesanth talked at length, previewing the headliner game in IPL 2023's rivalry week

When these two teams last faced off, RCB prevailed by a score of 23 runs. Despite Manish Pandey's half-century, DC could not complete their chase of 175 runs, reaching only 151/9 in 20 overs thanks to exceptional bowling from RCB's Vyshak Vijay Kumar and Mohammed Siraj.

Initially, RCB scored 174/6 in 20 overs thanks to Virat Kohli's innings of 50 runs off 34 balls. Kuldeep Yadav and Mitchell Marsh both took two wickets for DC. The simmering argument between Kohli and DC's director of cricket, Sourav Ganguly, grew worse throughout the game.

Given their history of animosity, veteran cricketer S Sreesanth predicts that the next match between Kohli and Ganguly will be entertaining. "This match will be interesting as it will be Virat vs Dada. The match looks good, in which there is a little excitement inside and outside the field. Looking at the kind of relationship Virat and Sourav share, a lot is seen during this match, and then such matches motivate the players to give their best," Sreesanth said in a video shared by IPL broadcaster Star Sports.

"No. 1 for me is captain vs captain. Virat Kohli vs Warner. It is going to be a thriller to watch as DC just won a game, and RCB is on the verge of taking to the best in the league. Point no. 2 for me is Nortje, the fastest bowler in the league this year. Would love to see him running in hard and making the RCB batters dance to his tunes. I am looking forward to it. "And the third point is pretty interesting. I would love to see Virat Kohli score a hundred. It will be a great tribute to Dada too. Virat, just go out there and express yourself. Win this for RCB," Sreesanth further added, previewing the clash.
