Watch: Virat Kohli's BTS footage for Indian T20 League 2023, fans share space with former India skipper

Former Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is set to appear in the Indian T20 League 2023 promo for the TV rights holders. For the unversed, for the first time in the history of the league, the TV and online broadcasters are different. Earlier, the online broad rights holders joined hands with former India skipper and Chennai skipper MS Dhoni for the league's promo on their platform.

On the other hand, the TV broadcaster has decided to rope in Kohli for the same. The only difference is that the one in which the former India skipper is appearing isn't released yet. However, the broadcaster has released another promo in which captains of some teams have been featured with the fans. Meanwhile, in the video that is going viral, Kohli is seen sitting with the fans and enjoying their company.

MS Dhoni to play the Indian T20 League for the last time

Meanwhile, the three-time World Championship-winning captain for India is reported to play the league one last time this year. Over the last few years, he has indicated his wish to play in front of the Chennai crowd before hanging his boots. Apparently, the last three seasons were played in neutral venues to contain the global pandemic called COVID-19 among the players.

However, at this point, the threat is over and the teams will play the tournament in the home and away format. The Yellow brigade will return to Chepauk for their home games this year. Dhoni is expected to retire after the 16th season.
