Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is usually known for his off-the-field antics and amazing responses to journalists in press conferences. He never fails to entertain his fans and even journalists with his funny, humorous, and witty replies. Sometimes Rohit also happens to have some funny encounters with the fans while being off-the-field.
Recently, he went on to do similar stuff with a fan when the Team was heading to the stadium before the second ODI against Australia after deboarding at Vizag airport.
The incident happened when a fan was waiting for his Rohit at the airport with a rose in his hand. The latter saw him and encountered him with a hilarious reply, “will you marry me”.
The video of this funny incident is now making rounds on social media as soon a user shared it on Instagram. The user captioned the video by referring to Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh. “Oh boy, Ritika wants to know your location,” read the caption of a viral Instagram post.

Talking about cricket, Rohit Sharma wasn’t available with Team India in the first of the three-match ODI series against Australia owing to the personal reasons. India played the ODI series opener against Steve Smith’s men under the captaincy of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The men in blue managed to get over the line by a margin of five wickets after a tough run chase courtesy of a brilliant unbeaten partnership for the sixth wicket between Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul.
But later on, in the second ODI, Australia made a stunning comeback by defeating India by a margin of 10 wickets to level the series by 1-1. The Indian team could score a total of only 117 runs in the Vizag ODI and completely surrendered against the Aussie bowling led by the veteran pace spearhead Mitchell Starc.
Eventually, Starc won the ‘player of the match award for his match-defining heroics in favor of Australia.
