Yuvraj Singh smashed six sixes in an over to Stuart Broad in what has become a defining moment for Indian cricket. Having sent a young team to the first-ever T20I World Cup, India did not have many expectations from the mega event. Reaching the semi-final would have been a good showing from MS Dhoni but the young team’s confidence kept rising and culminated with Yuvraj’s six sixes against England in the fourth match of the tournament.

This was the moment when India started to truly believe that they could go all the way and win the inaugural Cup. And they did!

15 years have passed since that day but the memory of Yuvraj smacking Broad in different stands of the Kingsmead is still afresh in every cricket fan's mind. On the 15th anniversary of the unforgettable moment, the 40-year-old sat down with a special partner and celebrated the anniversary.

The southpaw took to Twitter to post a video of him watching the remarkable feat with his nine-month-old son Orion Keech Singh in his lap. The Twitter post was captioned, “Couldn’t have found a better partner to watch this together with after 15 years.”

The Chandigarh born also hit a 12-ball fifty in that match and played a sensational knock of 58 in just 16 deliveries. In the process of hitting Stuart Broad for six sixes, Yuvraj Singh produced the fastest fifty in the history of T20I cricket, a record that still remains intact to this very day.

India riding on Yuvraj’s otherworldly innings, won the match by 18 runs and took a huge step towards the Semi-Final of the World Cup. India eventually reached the Semi-final and defeated Australia by 15 runs to qualify for the final against Pakistan.

The two Asian powerhouses played a nail-biter in the final with India coming out as the Champions of the inaugural world event.
