On 2 November 2022, Zimbabwe took on the Netherlands in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup in Adelaide. The Netherlands came to this match after getting defeated by Pakistan. On the other hand, Zimbabwe came off to this clash after losing against Bangladesh. So, both teams were looking to get back into the winning way after this clash.

Milton Shumba lost his pant while doing an effort in the field between the Netherlands and Zimbabawe
Speaking of the incident, it took place during the 15th over of the Netherlands’ innings. Luke Jongwe was bowling that over for Zimbabwe. For the Dutch, Max O’Dowd and Bas de Leede were batting. On the fourth delivery of that over, Max O’Dowd hit a flick in the leg side. Milton Shumba was there.
But, he made a complete mess of it. The ball landed awkwardly in front of him and then burst through him. Shumba tried to recover and stop the boundary. But, he failed and there's also a wardrobe malfunction to add salt to his wounds. Shuba lost his pant while trying to stop that boundary.
Speaking about the match, Zimbabwe got bundled out for just 117 runs in 19.2 overs. Sikander Raza scored 40 runs off 24 balls, including three fours and three sixes. Apart from him, no players managed to score significantly against the Dutch bowlers. For the Netherlands, Paul van Meekeren took three wickets for 29 runs in just four overs. In reply, the Dutch managed to chase it down in just 18 overs. The Netherlands managed to win the match by five wickets with two overs to spare. Max O’Dowd scored 52 runs off 47 balls, including eight fours and one six.
