The star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is out of action from international cricket for the last 9-10 months. He was ruled out of the national squad due to the back injury that he sustained last year. Due to the same injury, he had to miss the 20-20 World Cup 2022 following the Asia Cup 2022. Apart from that, he also missed some major bilateral assignments including the four-Test Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.
Meanwhile, the veteran Indian cricketer and currently the commentator, Dinesh Karthik has come up with a big hint on Jasprit Bumrah’s comeback in international cricket from the T20I series against Ireland before the commencement of the Asia Cup 2023.
"Bumrah is trying to come back through the Ireland T20 series,” said Karthik during commentary in the ongoing WTC 2023 final between India and Australia.
Although a lot of cricket fans seemed in completely a different mood following this hint dropped by Dinesh Karthik on Jasprit Bumrah. They immediately took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to come up with different reactions and responses.
Here’s how fans reacted:

I just doesn't want him playing any unnecessary games, just save him bubble wrap him for the ODI World Cup games later this year, without him we don't have another death bowler.

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah played his last international match for India on the 25th of September 2022 last year; it was the day when appeared in the Hyderabad T20I against Australia in the three-match T20I series. It was also the third and last of the three-match T20I series between India and Australia.
Although India won that match by a margin of 6 wickets and also won the series by 2-1 it was not a good day at the office for Jasprit Bumrah as he failed miserably to live up to the expectations. He conceded 50 runs in his quota of four overs and also went wicketless with a very horrific economy rate of 12.50.
Since then, Bumrah hasn’t been in the Indian colours at the highest level of the game due to the severity of the injury and the recovery time he is taking to come out of the same.
