On 30 October 2022, team India lost to South Africa by five wickets in Perth in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. After that loss, the Men in Green have managed only two wins out of three. India came to that clash after winning both games in the World Cup. So, fans were hoping to see that winning momentum gets continued in Perth.

But, Rohit Sharma and his men failed to do that. David Miller played a great knock with the bat while chasing. He remained not out on 59* runs off 46 balls and ensured the victory for the Proteas. After the match, former Indian player, Ajay Jadeja came up with a big claim regarding MS Dhoni which surprised fans.

“MS Dhoni has taught the rest of the world, we are suffering because of that.” - Ajay Jadeja

During an interaction on Cricbuzz, Ajay Jadeja said that MS Dhoni taught everyone about how to chase a total under pressure. For that, India are now suffering as David Miller did in Perth. He said: "What David Miller has done with his game and taken it to another level is not by adding any shots or adding anything else.”

He added: “He's become calmer and waits for the opposition to make a mistake by taking the game deep. The lesson that MS Dhoni has taught the rest of the world. We are suffering because of that.” Ajay Jadeja also opened up about Rohit Sharma’s decision as the skipper.

He said: "It felt like Rohit Sharma was not able to use his resources well or he was kind of stuck with using a particular bowler in a particular position. Arshdeep Singh could have bowled three overs at the top. But maybe he thought that then who else would take care at the backend. There are certain factors which are still not comfortable." Speaking about MS Dhoni, some pictures went viral recently where the former Indian skipper was seen having practice sessions at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) academy. He will be in action again for his Chennai franchise in the Indian T20 League 2023.
