'Weakest team'- Twitter slam Mumbai after crushing loss to Rajasthan

Rajasthan claimed a 23-run victory over Mumbai to get two more points on the board. Mumbai won the toss and made the obvious choice of bowling first. Sent in to bat first, Rajasthan had the perfect start as Buttler was in incredible form. He knocked bowlers all over the park as he targeted them wisely. Buttler hit 26 runs against Basil Thampi in a single over to set up the tone. He went on to score 100 in 68 balls to help Rajasthan reach 193. He got support from Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer who played cameos to keep the momentum of the innings.

For Mumbai, Jasprit Bumrah and Tymal Mills took three wickets each and did well to restrict Rajasthan. The duo took five wickets in the last two overs to restrict Rajasthan to a par total. They could have gone well past 210 had it not been for these two.

Mumbai then walked in to bat next and lost two wickets in quick succession. Ishan Kishan and Tilak Verma then played a smart game to get Mumbai in a comfortable position. Tilak Verma was playing with freedom, and Ishan Kishan stood strong on the other hand. Each scored a half-century before getting out.

Mumbai once again lost four wickets in quick succession. It was now up to the Big Man, Kieron Pollard to do the job. In the end, it was not to be for Mumbai as they fell short of the target. The two wickets for Yuzvendra Chahal were very useful for the Rajasthan team as they disrupted the rhythm of the game. Navdeep Saini also got two wickets. Trent Boult, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Prasidh Krishna got a wicket each.
