Former blistering Pakistan opener Imran Nazir is currently in social media headlines for his unbelievable revelations and blunt remarks on the Indian cricket team. Meanwhile, he also talked about playing Sreesanth and getting run out in the final of the 20-20 World Cup 2007 against the arch-rivals India.

Meanwhile, a Pakistan-based sports journalist went on to share a video of Imran Nazir including a few glimpses of his batting in the final against India.

“Only if Imran Nazir hadn't been run out in the 2007 T20 World Cup final, Pakistan would have been championed 💔 The only good thing about that event was it gave birth to the IPL, Pakistan played in 2008 and won the T20 World Cup in 2009 then,” reads the video tweet posted by Pakistan sports journalist.

Although this tweet didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans; they immediately took to Twitter and brutally trolled the journalist for talking in a language of ‘could’ve been’. Fans came up with some hilarious and interesting responses to troll Pakistan and Imran Nazir as well.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Apart from that, Imran Nazir also opened up his opinions on the Indian team’s choice of ‘not playing in Pakistan.

“There is no security reason. Just look at how many teams have been to Pakistan. Forget A teams, even Australia visited. These are all just cover-ups. The truth is that India won't come to Pakistan because they are afraid of losing. Security is just an excuse. Come and play cricket. When you start playing politics, there is no way back,” said Nazir to Nadir Ali during the podcast.

“People want to watch India vs Pakistan games because there is a different level of excitement. The entire world knows it. Even we as cricketers feel that for cricket to reach every corner of the world, India-Pakistan matches need to happen. We used to play so much cricket. They are such a balanced team but India cannot tolerate losing. It's a game; you'll win and lose some,” he added later.
