‘Win against Bengaluru will…’ - Jaipur Pink Panthers’ captain Sunil Kumar ahead of their clash with Bengaluru Bulls

On 30 November 2022, Jaipur Pink Panther will take on Bengaluru Bulls in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League. It will be the 110th match of this season that will take place in the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. Both teams have enjoyed a great season so far. Jaipur are currently in the second position with 64 points from 18 games.

On the other hand, Bengaluru are in the third position with 63 points in 18 games. So, an enthralling battle awaits fans in Hyderabad. Jaipur are coming off after a 48–28 win over Telegu Titans on 28 November. After that, Jaipur skipper, Sunil Kumar opened up about the importance of their next clash against Bengaluru.

Jaipur skipper, Sunil Kumar said that it will be a difficult game to play against Bengaluru. He said: “In Kabaddi, there’s always something at stake, it’s always do-or-die and the game against the Bengaluru Bulls might decide who takes up the top spots by the end of the league. A win against the Bengaluru Bulls will put us in a great position for a top-2 spot.”

“Our defensive unit and our raiders must function well and in sync, otherwise it will be a difficult time against the Bengaluru Bulls, as they’re a great team and in good form,” he added. About this upcoming clash, Jaipur’s coach, Upendra Kumar also shared his insights. He also heaped praises on their defender, Ankush. 

He said: “This is a team game, and even though there is an Ankush who is playing well, there is also Sunil Kumar who is picking up important points. But the team is quite impressed by Ankush, as he is doing just what we need at the big moments.” However, Bengaluru are also coming off after a 52-49 win over Dabang Delhi. So, both teams will look to win this clash to continue to lead the race to the playoffs.
