Team India are currently busy playing the three-match ODI series in New Zealand. However, they managed to win the three-match T20I series under the leadership of Hardik Pandya earlier this week. After the 20-20 World Cup 2022, big named players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul took a rest from the whole tour.

KL Rahul had a disappointing World Cup for his country with the bat. Despite having so many opportunities as the opener, he failed to deliver in a consistent manner. So, fans were not happy with the star batter’s performance. Meanwhile, he will return for the upcoming Bangladesh tour for the Men in Blue. 

KL Rahul scored only 128 runs in six matches of the 20-20 World Cup 2022

Recently, he shared a video of his gym session ahead of the Bangladesh tour. KL Rahul was seen having an intense gym session in order to get prepared for the upcoming tour. But, fans spotted a girl in that video and they thought it might be the Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor. So, fans went crazy after seeing her in the same gym with the star cricketer. Speaking of KL Rahul, he had a disappointing World Cup for India. He scored only 128 runs in six matches of the tournament. 

Since his comeback to the Indian cricket team, he has failed to score big. After several injury setbacks since the start of this year, KL Rahul made comeback in the Zimbabwe ODIs. But, he did not perform well with the bat. Then, in the Asia Cup, he managed only one fifty against Afghanistan. So, some fans were raising the demand not to consider for the World Cup. But, he went with the Indian squad and failed again to score big in the tournament. However, during the World Cup, head coach Rahul Dravid shared his verdict about the star batter. He said: "Personally, he would have liked to score a few more runs but it is not concerning him. Certainly, he is a very big part of our plans going ahead in the next few months."
